Croyde
Croyde Bay is 15 minutes drive from The Fernery. It is a really magical location with superb sandy beaches and spectacular scenery. The village is steeped in old-world charm, and echoing the feeling of life in Britain in the 30’s and 40’s, when things were easy going.
Nowadays there has been a great input into the area by the young surfing community, tourism and walkers with three fantastic beaches to choose from. This has upgraded the area without spoiling the old traditional charm of the village. Today you can find plenty of places to eat and drink.
Some of our favourites places to eat are:-
Blue Grove Cafe
Contemporary eatery/bar with a seaside vibe, offering a classic international menu, plus cocktails.
